My last two games on Darkstar have played out exactly the same. The whole team rush the boss at the start of the game leaving me to clear out the armoury alone. Meanwhile the opposition have capped their armoury and cleared out the fortress. We end up spawn trapped within minutes and no amount of shoutouts on the mic make any difference. It the first frustrating thing I’ve found with Warzone so far. Is it just me being unlucky?

I feel the same way about the garages on Noctus.
Although to be fair, I’d rather have both armories than an armory and the fortress on Darkstar.
It’s your team not coming to realize that they might have to give up the first 25 points to get both armory and fortress
If that’s the first frustrating thing you’ve experienced in warzone, I would definitely not say you are unlucky. But I hear yah, when I play WZ solo it feels at times like I’m the only one who knows what I’m doing lol. My favourite is when my whole team caps our first armoury. I’m sure it doesn’t need 11 Spartans to sit there while the little circle fills up. Please come help me clear the mid base or do something. Please
they think taking out bosses will get them up on points but thats not how it works
I don’t think this experience is that common, just sounds like bad luck with rushing the scout
A lot of people do rush the first boss, but enough people go to each armory to capture one for each team, then it usually is a struggle for either to capture the fortress.
After that though, it seems like if you’re team is in the east armory, and the opposition has the fortress and the west, then you can get stuck there pretty easily.
My fault for always playing solo I guess. Darkstar seems worse than ARC for triple capping.
To kill bosses.
Dark star is the worst about that, people get distracted by the first baby boss. The fortress isn’t critical on dark star though, so you can get away with that mistake a bit. I’d much rather have both armories

I agree…that’s what I’ve been experiencing recently anyway.
Boss kills are the key to winning warzone

This. This all day every day with zero exceptions.

I suppose that wouldn’t be a bad thing for my games though lol. Every game I play, the enemy team bum-rushes our armory at the start so having my whole team there would help with that.

Fully agree but you need a foothold on the map first. You don’t see whole teams rushing past the armoury to get to Lochagos. We gained a 25 point boss but went down 86-1000 due to the core destruction.

ZERO EXCEPTIONS!
30 points is 30 points, especially when you can just lob a grenade or two at that boss, not get the “last shot” and still get the kill (get a splinter off the soldier on the way there to make it easy). It takes like 10 seconds tops to kill him then harass the opposing players/armory or backtrack and cap your own armory. Besides, it doesn’t take 5 people to clear an armory. Players going after that boss isn’t the reason for the issue you described.
bro, join me tonight ( in about 5hrs) and we’ll start a lobby

Check out my stats over the past two days. That is exactly what has happened in each and every one of the losses I suffered and there are many. It’s not you, it’s the lack of communication among your teammates and the fact that EVERYONE goes for points instead of realizing that Warzone is a objective based playlist and you have to be both offensive and defensive. You’re not alone.

Warzone is definitely a mode for playing with teammates you know. Playing with randoms completely destroys the experience. The fact that no-one communicates makes it even worse.
