so I think dancing would be an awesome addition to Halo. Whenever I get that wholesome headshot or that sweet back smack, I feel the urge to boogie down in the most satisfying way possible. This could be done as a customizable feature similar to the assassinations in Halo 5. Think about it.
Common Dances would include:
The hokey pokey - The Robot - The Church Choir Clap - The Coffee Shop Snaps
Legendary Dances would be:
Michael Jackson Moonwalk - Shakira’s Hips of TRUTH - Lady Gaga Glam - Backstreet Boy’s: As Long as You Love me - B-boy Headspinnin’
I feel like this would really increase the fun in Halo and would be a great way to celebrate great kills.

Hell no. M8 having a spartan dance would be weird. Throughout halo, spartans have always been serious. Seeing them dance would be weird

Tbagging isn’t really the same. It’s not an in-game quick time or mechanic. It was made by crouching over and over again, and you don’t have to do it. Adding in dances would mean you’d do it involuntarily every time. Then someone else would just come up and kill you while you were dancing… and then someone would kill them… and again and again until it’s just an endless stream of killing and dancing

what do you mean by involuntarily? like it would become second nature to dance or your player automatically dances? if a player chooses to dance around after killing another player, they should definitely be at risk of getting immediately killed themselves lmao

I think they mean accidentally pressing the D pad or whatever button causes the dance.
Everyone usually says that dancing seems out of place in Halo, but once upon a time players would have said that Forge would be out of place in Halo, or that no health packs and regenerative health seems out of place in Halo. They might even have thought that a playable energy sword or brute hammer would seem out of place in Halo.
For all we know, dancing in Halo to somethin’ as rootin’ and tootin’ as Gangnam Style might open up just as many doors as the innovations that have been introduced before. You can’t hate what you’ve never had.

That was more or less copied from the GTA 5 matchmaking (or let’s call it “inspired” to be more friendly)
And now some people want the same thing from another current, popular game. It’s the same principle, just with another gaming-trend.
You can’t just put something you’ve seen from another game without any context into another game. Otherwise it will be out of place, as you said. This would be like me demanding sports cars for the next Halo Title instead of Warthogs because I think they look cool in Forza. Wouldn’t make much sense.

Yeah, I’d like for them to go the more mature route like in the first few games. Let’s get that M rating back lol
