It might just be that my Internet has times where it drops out or somethin or this piece of garbage they call a competitive multiplayer is just like I said, garbage. I play for awhile and everything’s fine, I come back an hour later and all of sudden everyone is a -Yoink- pro or like I said, maybe my Internet is not runnin top which it sucks already to begin with. My shots take a good 3/4 of a second to a whole second to register or like I said, everyone is a -Yoink- pro and can see where I’m gonna shot before I even pull the trigger. It’s funny how these “hitscan” (instant hit wherever the crosshairs are) weapons take up to a second to register. What’s the point the point if I have to lead my targets for all four shots with my battle rifle?? And I get myself killed so much by aiming right at their head, but by the time I’ve already pulled my trigger on their head, they have jumped in that one second time frame that they can go matrix and dodge my bullets, and my bullets hit them waist or below which gets me killed. Over. And over. And that’s only if they jumped straight up or I somehow managed to guess which direction they were going to dodge, and that’s just guessing. Which is not a good chance especially if my target keeps moving (duhh the enemy is always going to keep bobbin and weavin) so I have to pull the trigger and keep my aim on their head while they are moving in whichever direction either wise I’m goin to hit the wall that was directly behind them when I pulled the trigger a second ago directly on their head. Or aim in front of them and hope they run into it. So what I’m gettin at, is that all this makes hitscan a non existent thing or a completely useless thing, however you wanna say it. I’m done venting cause there ain’t nothin I can do about it, its prolly just my internet having a down time or somethin causing this lag I’m experiencing ruining the game for me. it’s the cards I’m delt with and there ain’t any other cards to get, so… done.
I have never had connection issues with this game except from like the first week.
My internet is 10mbps which runs at about half that, once in a blue moon on a Sunday morning on the planet Mars. It usually runs at about 2-3mbps download and .2/.3mbps upload. With a constant 100ms + latency. Usually runs at 130ms latency. And I’ve still got a computer, a tv, a laptop and my phone plus everyone else’s on the same network
I had connection issues on monday. And it was the game.
I don’t know what it is, internet speed, game lag, input lag, but whatever it is there is something weird with Halo 5.
There are moments where the game is “crisp” and you are moving at a similar speed to other players, the aiming system works such that where you think you are shooting actually registers and generally you feel on par with enemies.
Then the next game the game feels slow, players seem to be bullet proof and you die before you even know what happened.
Maybe it’s my skill level but to me it seems strange that from game to game we go from get what feels to be crisp gameplay to a sluggish feel.
I end up with some lag every now and then, but it really isn’t that bad for me.

^ What that guy said!
Two things: one, use some -Yoink!- paragraphs, man.
Two: Damn Daniel, back at it again with the white Vans!!! Sorry, I just had to…

This is exactly what I experience. I find it very strange. For being dedicated servers I expected consistency. Or a little more any how. But who knows what causes this.
