I am in a shoot out. One on one. I bring down the shield of the enemy to the point of one shot. My teammate swoops in and takes the kill (which is great) kill that guy.
However, I put in the most effort - I should get rewarded more than 5points. Has 343 mentioned anything about maybe increasing the points for those applying the most effort? Maybe a future fix/tweak?
Battlefield 3 does this perfectly. If you shoot a guy to 99% health and the kill is taken by another player, you get 99 points. It could be the same in this case but obviously, 6-60, 7-70, 8-80,9-90.
It would be nice for a few more assist points but unfortunately… that’s the way she goes, the way she goes.

Ok. So… +5 points really means 50?

Agreed. Really good team assists should be rewarded on whole other level than mediocre assists. Maybe 343 will recognize this and make adjustments.
All I see from it is even more teamwork being promoted which in my eyes is a positive thing.
