Damaged Mark VI replaced by Mark VII?

Just wondering if anyone thinks that Chief’s Damaged armor should finally be replaced with a set of Mark VII?

I really don’t mind, I’m still clinging onto a little bit of hope Chief will get a Forerunner Combat Skin
