Perhaps as a new AA we could have a short ranged pulse that removed shields on enemies and healed all teammates around you. You would get a ‘Medic’ medal for healing teammates and a normal assist if a teammate killed a drained enemy.
To balance it however, it would NOT do health damage and won’t heal a teamate who’s being shot.
WAAAAAAAAAAY too overpowered. Players shouldn’t be able to start off with an ability that drains enemy shields AND restores team shields. Literally nothing else would be used. If anything, it should be two seperate one-use equipment items like the Power Drainer and Regenerator.
As an AA… Waaayyy to overpowered, but it could work as a Map-Pickup equipment.
If it also drains your shields than it could work; otherwise it would be way too OP. I voted no, we already have Pulse grenades which do pretty much the same thing and are very limited (you get 3 max).

That would work really well. Your shields for everyone elses. Also, using it for all the bar will make you one shot from any gun away from death.
I actually had this idea waaaaay back but instead it wouldn’t heal anyone and it would just take out yours and who ever was around you shields kinda like in halo ce where you walk into those generators in the snow level.Forerunner

So, the longer you hold down the button, the more shields are drained. Kind of like the powerdrain, albeit slightly slower than that. When the meter is maxed out, all enemy shields should be gone, but you could be taken out by a headshot.(if shield bleed comes into effect) I like this. However, what recharge time are we looking at?

Probably as long as JP or AC. It is pretty powerful. I also want Hacker to be made into an actual armour ability, I just can’t think of a good way to balance it, as everyone would just choose Hacker.
Nope. AAs should never take an offensive role. One, it will cause balance issues, and two, it will dismiss the many tactics that come with the ambiguous philosophy of the AAs. It just doesn’t fit.
If you can’t shoot while you do it, it’s fine.
