I was just curious… Does anyone ever use the Damage Boosts. If so, does it make a big difference with vs. without? I never use them in WZ because the req level is so high. (5-6) I’d rather pull a power weapon or vehicle vs getting more damage using the loadouts.
Damage Boosts will make all of your attacks a whole lot stronger. Regular snipers become 1-shot monsters, Spartan Charges will insta-kill a player, and anti-vehicle weapons will completely annihilate anything.

Thanks… The only time I see them being really fun would be using them in WZ Turbo. The only reason I haven’t tried them In regular WZ, if I pull a power weapon it takes my req level to zero then have to wait half the game for it to go back up high enough to pull one.
I dont use it.I dont use boosts in general.Kinda dont fit my prefered style of playning.
I only play firefight, but some situations where I use damage boosts include occasions when I feel like doing some Grenadier armor mod+Gungoose passenger seat grenade spamming (5 req energy for the boost and 3 for the Gungoose unless I already had the Gungoose from an earlier round), and times when I play with my friend who calls in Warthogs and drives me around in them. A damage boosted Oni Warthog turret can be surprisingly powerful.
In Spartan Assault it was hard to do most of the missions without some boosts in order to gather enough points for the highest grade, from which the damage boost was most useful one.

You mentioned Spartan Assault… I know absolutely nothing about that one. Does it that have like a campaign solo player mode. I’ve played all the Halo’s with the exception of Spartan Assault and Spartan Ops…
Not really. I would usually call a power weapon and then if I still had it I would call in a damage boost when my REQ level was high enough again.
Sometimes when my team is triple capped late game and enemy team rushes our core over eagerly, I’ll throw on a damage boost and mow them down with the H2BR or DMR - from a defensive position.

I am a PC player, the Spartan Assault was my first contact with Halo. If you have access to the mainline games of the franchise, Spartan Assault unnecessarily is something crucial to play for you, but it could show you that Halo can maintain the features which make Halo recognizable even outside of the flagship style. I know XBOX players neglect Spartan Assault, as it was originally a Windows Phone dedicated promotional release, but eventually it came out to be a representative for the entire Halo outside of the XBOX world - next to Halo Wars - since the rest of the games, at least those meeting modernday expectations, are simply unavailable. So you see the paradox. Most neglected game, the cornerstone. This is what happens when you are stubborn, Microsoft. This is actually one of the threats you can read in the Bible. End times are near.
