Who has control of what these challenges are?

I remember Bungie saying around launch that it was a fairly random draw, with a pool of challenges to choose from every day with specifics (like Thursday is Firefight day…) Was this system implemented in such a way that 343i can’t get into them and modify them to make them… better?

I don’t know if anyone would know that, but if you do, or you have some insight, that’d be great.

I have no official insight as you said. However, I will take a stab in the dark and say they have the ability to change it if they see fit. This is not to say they will but I am pretty sure they could if they wanted to. I hope they revamp both the challenge and commendation system. We will just have to wait and see.
