Daily Players Desired
A friend and I are looking for people to play with on a regular basis in Reach. It’s fun to party up with 2 people, but in some gametypes, a party of 2 just doesn’t cut it.
Times: We’re both in the Central timezone (US, UTC-6 when CST and UTC-5 when CDT) and have headsets. Generally speaking, we’re online in the evenings. We start potentially as early as 5 PM (during the week) and have played past 2 AM. I would note that we don’t play that entire span of time, but it gives a general idea as to when we’re online.
Doing what: We commonly go for the daily and weekly challenges, spending a lot of time in SWAT and Action Sack with occasional forays into other playlists as the mood strikes us. We have also gone on Achievement hunts with each other.
Who are we: Both of us are in our mid-twenties and are young “professionals” (grad student and lawyer, respectively) and are real-life friends from high school. We both enjoy watching Achievement HORSE and Fails of the Weak and will usually spend time discussing them in-game (in a private party). The extended Haloverse is another common discussion topic.
About me: I’m the more active of us in terms of community interactions, mainly through Rooster Teeth/Achievement Hunter, HBO, and now here (hence why I’m the one posting this). I’m a campaigner at heart (why I got my system in the first place), but I can usually hold my own in MP or FF.
About my friend: They started playing after me so they’re correspondingly behind me in rank, but are better than me in SWAT.
Who are we looking for: No offense to anyone (in their teens or otherwise), but our experience is that the age gap becomes quite noticeable in terms of maturity and knowledge. As such, we’d prefer someone at least in college who is capable of both holding a conversation and killing the enemy at the same time. Being daily players, it would also be nice to find someone online often. Those players interested in going after the daily/weekly challenges to the front of the line, please.
