Just how long is the Credit Cap in effect for? I hear 5 hours, 24 hours what? Also, the amount, how much is it? Any answers to these questions would be helpful.
from what i heard its 24hrs and 150k limit.

it isnt 24hrs from when you hit it, theres a daily reset time. Depending on your time zone, its usually between 12am-5am
So, by that logic, since my Time-zone is Central time it would be around 3am-ish?

Yeah I hit that yesterday and today myself. Kind of odd to put a cap when you’re running a Double XP promo and pushing folks to cap faster. Guess I’ll just be playing to cap and then playing Skyrim or something when I’m not busy. I really hope they remove that thing before too long…

yea i’ve hit the cap every day since release so far, so in the meantime, i made a gimme account with the 14 day trial card to mess around on since i <3 this game so much and i want to play but not waste my 2xp games xD

I find it pretty stupid that there was all this hype for this game and then they put an xp limit in. Ive waited for this game for a very VERY long time and after spending a good chunk of cash on it… I get this… I agree with most of the people here: THIS MAKES ME WANT TO PLAY BLACK OPS MORE THAN HALO 4.
343 you put a solid game together, really you did. But why would you rob us all of what we’ve waited for? Lift this cap. Its stupid NO OTHER fps (Besides reach) had a cap… on launch week none the less.
and to all of you guys saying “the xp cap is fair” you really dont like getting what you paid for do you? If your argument is fair leveling, lets take a second to remember the matchmaking system… IT PUTS YOU IN WITH PEOPLE AROUND YOUR LEVEL, so stop crying and honestly thats THE ONLY argument you can make… which is limited.

With Spartan Ops matchmaking it’s easy. Spartan ops with double XP you earn an avg. of 14-17k and it only takes about 10 to 12 minutes a mission. So in about 10 Spartan Ops games you can easily hit the 150k XP cap with double XP.
It resets about 12 AM Hawaiian Standard Time, so in the US, between 2-5 AM
Have to agree with all of you. The Exp cap is ludacris. I fork over 100 bucks for the game and then buy Dew and Doritos (Wife drinks Dew all the time so it worked out for me there)for the DoubleXP promo and 343 caps the XP. Why do I feel like I am being punished for having a couple days off and wanting to spend them playing Halo?
The biggest thing for me and something that really could fix it IMO would be to allow the commendation xp to still compile even after we hit the cap. It is such a waste of that xp if you unlock a commendation after the cap. I have lost out on several challenges and commendations because I got them after the cap. That really sucks.

My friend plays spartan ops and you don’t get double exp from spartan ops.
Plus, you get rewarded the same as you do in multiplayer so around 3k nowhere near 14-17k.

Then your friend must not be playing online Spartan Ops.
I just got my cap for the first time, totally didn’t know about it…
I’m pretty upset about this… I really want to keep playing, but since I wont be working towards anything, it kind of demotivates me to go on…
I’m not going to be playing anything else, but I’m still upset about this…
It just doesn’t make any sense to me why they feel the need to still implement this cap after the game has been out for about a month now…
