If I complete a daily challenge (partially or fully) and exit Halo Reach, either by simply turning off my Xbox, going to the dashboard, or another game, my challenges reset. This was the case yesterday as well.
I know if you quickly sign on and off your challenges will reset, this isn’t my problem. I couldn’t care less about the actual cR value of the challenges, I just like doing them.
I’d really like to avoid a ban, and I’m not exactly sure what the problem is, I have never had this problem before.
Lotus, it started on 8/31 and as of 6am CST on 9/1 it was still happening. I’ve called Xbo xLive Support and it seems we can’t find the proper tech team to contact. Hopefully someone at 343i will see this ASAP and get something done before people accidentally get banned.
It’s not only you, but to many, many other people. Since the challenge reset is just a probable system error, there shouldn’t be much to worry about. The problem will be fixed eventually. Just be grateful that the challenge that was reset wasn’t a weekly challenge.
