Now that the service records are live, we can see the challenges we have awaiting us as well. Which is great. Except I can see that the 3 daily challenges will expire before the game even unlocks for 3/4 of the world. Kind of irritating to people who like to complete them all.
Did they really not think this through?
Seriously, it reeks of either lack of care for their customers, or incompetence.
I mean, they can globally release these things at the same time, yet they can’t do the same for the game?

I highly doubt a review would have been soured if the challenges had extended timers to overlap into the actual launch. That’s 3 packs I’m missing out on right out of the gate. As a paying customer, it’s absolutely a problem.

I’m sure you’ll be ok missing out on a whopping three packs, to which you can just make up for on another day.

Making up for them on another day means I didn’t get them on that day, I’d still be 3 behind in my totals. It does cause a problem when the number of challenges completed is displayed on your in game service record; taunting you every time you log in. Knowing the ugly truth as it eats away at your core. It’s an OCD completionist thing. You wouldn’t understand.

Using pineapple on pizza as a defense is not gonna work. It’s just a number that literally no one will see, and you won’t check more than a dozen times. You’ll be fine, let’s just get hyped for the game
So what happens when you go on holiday or your internet goes out and you miss getting challenges? Honestly, I can’t see how this is an issue. At some point you will miss a day

I’ll see it, and that’s really all that matters to me. Again, stop trying to devalue what I find important.

Those would be circumstances on my end. This is on the developers.
If I go on vacation, I chose not to bring my console/laptop. If my internet goes out, I chose not to enable my mobile hotspot or seek out alternative internet sources. Choosing not to participate in something and being told you cannot participate are two completely different things.
