Today’s Daily Challenge says to kill 125 grunts in Campaign. What mission do you choose to fulfill your grunty thirst? (Or what shortcut do you use to fulfill your grunty thirst even quicker?)
I just played trough the first two missions on normal…
The package - Rally Point Bravo - 8 Grunts dropped from Phantom - revert to last save - done in 5 minutes.
ONI Sword Base Target Designator method. Done in well under 3 minutes.
Just in case you’re not privy to it, it’s perfectly legit too. Just DO NOT attack anyone so you’ll have maximum targets.
Start ONI on whatever difficulty, and run up the ramp on the right (with the lone Elite) and keep against that wall until you enter the garage with the designator. Pick it up and begin aiming at the foot of the roadblocks back on top of the area you came from, where all the enemies are. Just before the designator locks and fires, back against the big door you’ll eventually go through for the Checkpoint. From here, you can just keep reloading after you get the max Killing Spree medal and it will automatically drop the bombs without doing anything. All you’re doing past this point is:
Wait a few seconds
Reload Checkpoint
That’s it. Free creds.
So if you want to earn the credits the legit way and appreciate a good campaign mission with a slight challenge: POA, Heroic. Happy hunting… though that doesn’t have all 125 grunts on it. Heck, maybe half of that, but I just redo the mission again on Legendary for some increased action. that and I want to get ready for Halo:CEA Legendary 1st night playthrough…
