Is anyone else having a problem getting the “There Are Many Like It…” Daily Challenge to register as completed? I loaded up the level Nightfall to complete it (50 kills with a precision weapon in the Campaign). I played the level twice because I thought the problem was that I had scoring off the first time.
That playtime also didn’t contribute anything towards another Daily Challenge, “Light Fare” (100 Kills in ANY game mode). But Light Fare is registering some kills after playing a matchmaking game, so I’m not concerned about that one as much.
Any one know what’s going on with this?
How’s your connection? I know that daily and weekly challenges will give you updates in game as you go, but I know that the custom challenges don’t receive their numbers until you save and exit or finish a game. So if you lose connection and finish a game while it’s down, you just missed out on all of the progress you just did towards that challenge. I would assume that the daily and weekly do the same, and those little updates are just to let you know what to expect when you finish the game. So if your connection is slightly intermittent, you may be losing the actual credit for your kills. Have you tried resetting your network adapter and such?
No I haven’t, but I don’t seem to have a problem with connection for Multiplayer. I honestly don’t think the problem is on my end, but whether it is or not, I’m not going to replay the level for a 3rd time just to complete the challenge.
If anyone from 343 wants to look into this and award credits where credits are due; cool. If not, then I’ll just stop going out of my way to complete challenges, and just hit the ones I would get from my normal game-play routine.
