It used to be 3000.
I think it was changed because people would get the Linked up with Bnet challenge and then get the credits from the challenge that replaced it, changing it to 1 cR was a lot more fair.
I guess, though in challenges it says I completed the assists one. It always says I completed it when I did the link up one. I’m guessing I can’t get 5 daily challenges in 1 day.
Didn’t play Halo: Reach today. Better get to it because I have to get 1cR from that challenge before the day is over!
It looks like that was never meant to be a challenge, as it got swapped for an assist challenge when the 343i guys and gals got into work.
The challenges are selected randomly by machine and mistakes happen, I remember one day there were only 3 daily challenges, but these are often quickly resolved when 343i get into work.
I got it and the assist one, same it only counted as one challenge not two for the weekly.
