- Since the release of the Halo Wars 2 I have had an issue preventing me from completing the Achievement of 7 consistent days of Blitz Challenge completions
- The issue is that game does NOT consistently reset the daily blitz challenges at the designated reset time after the challenges have been completed before the daily reset occurs.
- This makes it impossible for me to accomplish the Short-term Commitment achievement.
- It seems that if I start & complete the daily challenges within 2 hours of the daily reset, I do not receive the new daily challenges once the daily reset occurs.

- A few Google searches will reveal that I’m not the only that has been affected by this issue.
- This issue has been extremely frustrating & I do not wish to endure it for a 3rd month.
Please fix this issue & incorporate these changes to the Blitz Challenges:
1): Daily Challenges should ALWAYS change over to the next daily challenges, completed or not.
2): Daily Challenges should ALWAYS changer over at the same time, EVERY day.
3): Daily Challenges should ALWAYS have a timer showing the remaining time, down to the second.

Can’t say I’ve experienced or even seen this issue or heard of it, but as I’m based in UK I’ve only ever been online during the daily reset during the NFL Draft as it’s silly o’clock for me.
Have you tried ‘forcing’ it? Through game restarts/console restarts? Have you opened Waypoint up on a second device and looked there either side of the reset?

The daily reset for me is at 10pm CST, [12am PST], for me. Because I’ve realized that the issue is only triggered when I start the 1st daily challenge close to the daily reset I’ve tried gaming after the daily reset. However I’m usually engaged with other people, winding down or asleep at that time. Having to get on at that time is such an inconvenience for me. My usual gaming window is between 4pm - 8pm but I’m usually on at 6pm. If Halo Wars 2 was the only game that I played then I probably would’ve had the achievement long ago & maybe even never seen this issue. That is not the case though. Most of my gaming time is spend on Destiny or Wildlands.
As for you not seeing or hearing about this issue, I believe you. I know I’m in the minority. The Google searches I’ve found made that obvious while still comforting with the knowledge that I wasn’t completely alone with this issue. I figured that the more people there are that have this problem the more likely the developers will actually fix it. Sadly nearly 3 months later I’m still plagued by this issue. The worst part though has been going after the achievements. It just continues to break me down. Each time I start over defeated building up my belief that I can overcome the issue & get my 7 days of consistant completions. The on the 3rd or 4th day I usually end up getting screwed despite my challenge completions, week after week for the past 7 weeks. I suppose technically its every half-week after half-week for about the past 14 half-weeks. 
As for ‘forcing’ it, I have tried forcing the timer to start with a time less than 24hrs. Quitting the application & doing a hard reset did nothing though. With the issue not being that the daily timer wasn’t working but rather the timer had an invisible timer with time exceeding 48hrs, (like the Weekly Timer), I didn’t expect anything to change with ending the game application or hard resetting. That’s why one of the fixes to the challenge/reward system I made was for the developers to always show the exact time remaining always including the hours, minutes & seconds.
As for checking Waypoint, I wasn’t familiar with Waypoint enough to be aware there was a way to check the daily timer on it. I’ll have to check that the next my issue occurs. Just thinking about that issue coming back & screwing me out of my achievement & another set of challenges/blitz packs before the developers fix or even acknowledge this issue yet again is already depressing me. My issue is that knowing that I met the requirements for something & am still denied that reward for no reason or compensation just takes the enjoyment out of having done it at all. The fact that my blitz characters are weaker players because of it further gets me.
I don’t know if this issue was fixed as me finding out is usually at the cost of 3 daily blitz rewards. However I finally got the short term commitment achievement. The way I got around the issue was forcing myself to play late at night after the daily challenges reset instead of gaming at my preferred gaming time I was comfortable at, (1-2hrs before the daily challenges reset). Hopefully the issue was fixed but if I have the misfortune of finding out that it hasn’t, I’ll comeback here with a comment to remind the devs of this issue, even though I have no ideal if they even notice the posts in this section.
Ughhh! I normally have been doing the Blitz Challenges right after reset but forgot to do them last night. I started working on them 1 hour before reset &, (when I finished the challenges), the Blitz challenge “timer” reset without the Blitz Challenges resetting. It would be one thing if only one or two challenges didn’t reset but none of them reset. 4 Months later this issue still exists. I guess the devs are too busy focusing on ways to sell more content to season pass holders before Halo War 2’s 1st year is even over instead of fixing issues that have been around since Halo Wars 2 launched. I don’t even know why I’m even still disappointed by this still happening. By now I should just be expecting this to always happen instead of the devs making the change to fix this issue.
