I don’t know if i’m too nitpicky but some of the textures in spartan armors, weapons and vehicles look a bit too low res to be a next gen game that’s supposed to showcase the power of the series X. maybe it’s like that to accomodate lower end PCs and the Xbox one fat, but idk.

It could be shot on the Xbox one. I’m guessing if they would want to avoid taking screenshots on the series x because it won’t look that good on the Xbox one when the flights/game comes out and people will complain about false advertising or something

taking screenshots on the xbox one would be pretty stupid imo. why wouldn’t they wanna showcase the best look of the game?
Developers are accutely aware now that showing “game in progress” images and footage will always yield a better response at release than showing “how we are imagining it will look when it’s done” stuff.

I think that Halo Infinite’s graphics look great, you aren’t nitpicky, I completely understand looking at a “next gen game” with current gen graphics and then wondering what the heck was going on. I expect it to possibly look better on PC and the Series X but I’m scared about how my PC is going to run the game as it is so 343 try not to give me a heart attack by announcing in this thread that the graphics will be WAY better in the final release. xD
its not a next gen game. Can we move on from this please.
No not really. The last reveal looked pretty good in the graphics department.

its releasing on the series x and PC as its main platforms, im pretty sure it’s next gen.

thats the weird thing, the gameplay trailers look amazing graphically. the armors from afar look gorgeous and vehicle look great but up close nothing really looks particularly great or truly next gen. I don’t know if it’s me looking too much into it, but even a game like MW that released abt 2 years ago looks better in the small details department. even the vehicles from an acceptable distance you can tell the textures aren’t amazingly high. but then again, maybe I’m just too nitpicky.

Might’ve been watching a poor quality re-upload somewhere. So far things seem pretty good. Granted we’ll see it gets the Dark Souls 2 treatment where in that instance lighting was completely gutted right before launch.

thats not next gen. Next-gen means it’s only on those consoles. It’s not, so let’s stop acting like it is in its launch state
Damn, you think so? I was just talking with a friend about how detailed some of those screenshots were, like the textures on the firing range were. Guess our eyes are just glued to different things, I’mma be sure to check the ones you mentioned again.
Honestly I dont see a problem, I can see dirt and grime and even the tinest details. Maybe you should look at the several 4k in-game images they’ve shown.
