Cutter/Brute VS Cutter/Arby (the Docks)

I have a problem when im facing a Brute when I play Arby. especially on the map : the Docks. I usually go temple 3th and try to defend from the brute rush . But im having a hard time to get him off my base early, because when i have him off my base , he wil have his summit building already . When i go over there to stop the summit , he has some banshees out and kills more warehouses/summit of my base. Forcing me to recall and rage again . Meaning I can never get vamps up in time when i have to keep raging those banshees. Also i cant help my teammate with in tankbattles because i have to keep the banshees off my base.

so you guys got any tips ?
Should I go Temple second and go this his base aswell ? Should my unsc go warthogs ? Should I rage every brute Squad or slice them ? Should I even try to get vamps up or should I go super arby? Should my UNSC go wolverines etc etc

please only respond if you know what im talking about .

You want your teammate to go hogs against a rushing brute so he can camp his lift, denying any brute squads through. Go temple 2nd and assist your teammate’s hogs at the brute’s base (keep down turrets, rage opponent’s hogs). The brute will have to recall and defend his base. Now, you both are free to do whatever you want. Go to the UNSC’s base and deny the vehicle depot. Have your teammate’s hogs go to his expansion (if he has one) and keep down those vehicle depots. Abuse the fact that brute can’t rage tanks and you can. That’s pretty much GG right there.

thanks dude

I forgot to mention that there is a safer way. Instead of hogs, you can just instant expand and go barracks third on your main base while your arbiter hits the brute’s base.

Going hogs is more risky because you sacrifice getting an early expansion, but you can pull it off if you play it right. The last thing you want is to try and out-tank a Cutter on two bases while you’re only on one base the entire game, so make sure you sneak that expansion up at the right time.

But when you make a barracks the other cutter is way ahead of you , or not ? And isnt it possible to insta expand AND go a couple of hogs ? you will have gunner a little late though

Going barracks shouldn’t slow you down much at all. I do it all the time. Besides, going flamers should shut down the brute rush and will allow your arbiter to get banshees quicker, so if the UNSC is a little ahead, it’ll be okay. Plus, the arbiter can rage early tanks.

It is possible to insta expand and get hogs, but the goal is to get gunner and camp the brute’s lift as soon as possible. I’ve actually lost a game because I got gunner too late. You can insta expand and go late gunner hogs if your arbiter plays defense, though. Then once you defend the brute rush, you can go deny vehicle depots and summits with several hogs + arbiter. I assume that can work just as well.
