I found a really cool link on Halo Alpha (the Halo fandom) that has all this material that was cut from Halo 2 & more.
There’s all these awesome weapon, vehicle, and enemy designs that were never included (things like Machetes, submarines, and arctic beasts).
I think it would be really cool if 343 decided to add some of this cut content into Infinite.

Who knows, though. Maybe the content was cut for a reason. I still think they should add underwater combat and machetes, though.

At one point, they had cybernetic aliens in mind and a somehow resurrected Ur-Didact during Halo 5’s conceptual phase. Not sure why the change of creative direction but I wouldn’t mind seeing the cybernetic aliens appear in Halo Infinite, I can imagine them as slaves for the Created.

Hmm I dont know, with Infinite supposedly going back to the games roots would feel a little out there to throw in a machete and suddenly becoming a underwater space marine.
If it got cut, it’s probably for a reason. Doesn’t seem to fit with the hole vibe of halo to me
Well, technically 343i already have use some old Bungie ideas. In Halo 5 specifically.
The Guardians. I remember Bungie talking about the cut mission “Guardian Forest” in Halo 3 where we would have fought their version of a Guardian.
Also, Bungie’s original plan for Cortana in CE was to have her go rogue/rampant in Alpha Halo’s Control Room.
Cut ideas are cut for a reason, sure they’re cool. But if brought back well…we know how Halo 5 turned out.
That said, I still want to see the composed Didact in the Future. As well as a drivable boat.

I could go for a darker horror style Cyber-Covenant. Could be all the Doom talkin haha but would welcome it nonetheless. I always liked the flood intro back in the day for the eerie suspense movie feel to the level. Maybe the next go-round with the flood could get darker.
