The post-game freezing after custom matches has never been fixed, with the in-game freezing when players leave/join, also never fixed. Custom games is what I usually play now on Halo 5 and this freezing is annoying. Just a moment ago, me and 2 friends finished a match, all of us froze in the PGCR, only to restart Halo 5.
343, PLEASE look into this. It’s a literal game breaker.

It happens to anyone apparently. It’s the only annoying thing in H5 for me.

Yeah, you don’t see many people on forums with the issue because we just live with it. It’s highly unlikely that it will be fixed. Halo 5 only has a small team working to sustain it for until Halo Infinite comes out.
Yeah I’ve started playing a lot of customs and sometimes the game will freeze while you’re still in the pre-game lobby as well. Annoying. It’s also been freezing when I get out of normal MP and try to exit out of the stats screen to get back to the lobby. That’s when it goes all pear shaped on me.
Very doubtful it will get fixed since it means they would have to take resources away from Infinite in order to look into it which was already confirmed by a 343 employee about a different but equally annoying lobby bug which might actually might be related to the freezing issue.
343 doesn’t care about issues that aren’t for sweaty competitive gamers. So basically even though its one of those issues we the Custom Game Community has been complaining and reporting about since the Custom Game Browser was released with no light at the end of the tunnel.
Shoot even in MCC they said there’s a Custom Game Browser coming out but still no word on when.
Yeah, they should fix H5 freeze, it’s more recent than MCC, this game need his patch too!
