Every since the bulletin for August update I am outraged with the removing of action sack in particular. I always have been a lover of custom games, this includes race tracks, minigames and just standard slayer based game types on default and community maps. Only recently I have saved (almost) every game type in the action sack rotation to add to my collection. Basically with every friend of mine who regularly plays reach being on, we still don’t total 16 players unfortunately. I’ve seen many threads/posts lately about wanting to find people to play custom games with or even matchmaking.
I myself would love to get more halo reach (not completely excluding 3) maps and game variants ideas if people had them. The best place I’ve found for forge creations is definitely forgehub but it still doesn’t have the option to help me find gamers to play the customs with. Only thing I’ve been left with is clans…
If you’re in a clan that fine etc but I really have no interest with them, I’d rather just play the game, I know many are the same. So I’ve decided to create a basic facebook page to share your forge creations, game type ideas/maps, custom game nights or even matchmaking groups. I myself would love to avoid randoms on my team who will kick for the dumbest betrayals or kill you for power weapons.
So for anyone who is looking for a larger group but doesn’t want to flood friend lists, change emblems, join a clan or any of that crap. Give it a shot. This also would give the option of not joining party chats etc if you choose not too. I’ll see how it goes. I was on edge doing this but when halo 4 releasing this will still be applicable so I decided to go for it. I included a link to the facebook page at the bottom.
I myself have a over 100 map variant library in forge world (I’m sure many people have larger libraries than that). I have almost every halo 1,2,3 including dlc’s map by amazing forgers, race tracks, many minigames and just recently have been collecting standard slayer maps.

I am glad you are trying to set up community sharing pages and I agree with you on the playlist removal I was also outraged but here is the thing.
It was kind o pointless to create the page since waypoint has a file browser now. there is also a website called forgehub.com where they have thousands of community content. you should definitely be a member on their website if you are interested in community creations. you can also check out the community creations forum here on waypoint.

I have both trust me. the creations on the forum here is either filled with garbage or some good stuff and forgehub is awesome. But it only showcases creations but no one is ever trying to group up for custom games on them so it’s a little pointless when I get all these new maps etc but not even people to test properly. Very frustrating lol
to be clear, I’m not really looking for new maps etc (if people share them thats awesome) I’m just trying to get a group of people wanting to do customs but have no one or not enough in my case to fully take advantage of them.

Actually there are custom games nights here on waypoint if you check the general discussion forum there are games almost every month. you can set one up too just make sure it isnt interfering with any other playdate.
