I just downloaded Halo 5: Forge and have been messing around on the site. I saw I had req packs and figured I’d just open them. I got some weapon skins and emblems, but I don’t know how to put them on. Is there something I’m missing? I managed to change my spartan’s armor, but not much else. In the game, press the start button, and I believe you scroll down to Customization. There you can change the Spartan Appearance and Spartan ID. That covers armor, weapon skins, and emblems. Edit: this is for the console game, I don’t know the PC UI.
On the site, you can’t change weapon skins or emblems. Have to do those in game. I’m assuming that’s the same for the PC version.

Strange, getting nothing from the game when I press start. I also can’t seem to find any matchmaking for that matter. They wouldn’t make such a major oversight as to leave out customization, I’d throw money at the game for charred recruit armor

There’s no matchmaking in the PC version, strictly custom games. And because there’s no matchmaking, I’m guessing there’s no way to earn experience and req points to unlock the customization stuff in game.

Stranger and stranger. They give daily req packs it seems, and I got cosmetics out of it. But I guess I can understand the matchmaking part.

Cant change emblem or skin without access to Halo 5: Guardians on Xbox. Kind of ridiculous really, but understandable if they’re bringing the whole Halo 6 experience to PC.

That is pretty silly
yeah 343 said that Spartan Customization will be handled through the Halo 5 game on Xbox and the HaloWaypoint site. PC Forge is meant to be like an extension of H5, not its own game. Sorry
