I like how many variations of armor, helmets, visors, emblems, and weapons they have in Halo 5 but they lack the true individuality of separate parts when it comes to armor. The best one to compare Halo armor customization to is Reach being it had so many variations of armor and parts to go on said armor. Halo 4 had a nice selection as well but they still kept the individuality of how your SPARTAN looked. I feel Halo 5 lost this individuality by making it armor and helmet not helmet, chest, legs, shoulders, or arms with how many variations there are in Halo 5 I wish it was like that and instead of having to pay for armor it should be unlocked through gameplay not pay to get. I had hope for 343 after playing Halo 4 but now I just want the series to end on a good note so that we don’t only remember Bungie Halo being the best but a series that was great with missteps in it
It is a shame that one of the few things they got right in Halo 4 didn’t get carried over to Halo 5. Though if that did happen it would flood req packs even more, possibly tripling the amount of armour unlocks depending on how unlocks would be done(shoulders, legs, arms, chest, and helmet all coming separately). If it all came with the armour when you unlocked it that’d be nice and I doubt it would be difficult for 343 to add that change.
With 343 doing “constant” updates monthly you never know they may do just such a thing. Keep in mind if they released all these different things at once it would get overwhelming. The game may lose value that way. The way updates are coming it keeps the hardcore guys staying at peak. The casual gamers from getting enough but not to the point where they may never get all the unlocks. Plus the way the req packs work for warzone it keeps from any one player from having to much power.
Same. I love the Stalker chest, but the forearms look horrible. Of course this wasn’t a problem in Halo 4, but now…Eh.

But they could simplify it by just making it to where if you unlock the armor you unlock all parts of it excluding the helmet making that a different unlock but capable of altering the other parts of it
