Customization (With Pictures)

As taken from IGN’s live stream, I was able to Gyazo a few of the different kinds of customization. It looks like Halo 2: Anniversary is definitely in sets. I am unsure about Halo 3 and Halo 4 at this time. Sorry that you have to copy/paste, I don’t know how to do make it take you directly to the link. :stuck_out_tongue: Thoughts?

Main Customization for Armor

Halo 2: Anniversary

Spartans

Elites

Halo 4

It looks like Halo 4 only has armor sets. I honestly don’t actually mind.

The Elites look great, can’t wait to get back to playing as the coolest aliens.

I reaaaaaally hope we’re not limited to preset armor configurations or that’s going to seriously bum me out. I don’t mind it for the classic titles like Halo CE and Halo 2 but when the features were built into Halo 3 and Halo 4 I kinda expect them to still be there.

Wow 343…thanks for ruining Armor Customization

We might not even be seeing the Gold MCC for all we know, but people can’t resist mocking 343, anyway.

Agreed. I would love to customize my Halo 3 and Halo 4 characters the way I want them, and not in sets. Halo 1, Halo 2, and Anniversary I don’t mind so much.

People want to find a way to bash 343 for something. I find it quite ridiculous.

Well I’m just hoping that we do get to customise our Spartans like we could in H3 and H4

Agreed, I won’t personally bash 343 if this is indeed the case, I’ll find it a little annoying of course but ultimately the amount of content featured in the game will be enough to make up for it anyway.

I don’t care about H1 and 2 armour but if Halo 3 and 4 are in sets then I will be super disappointed.

A sarcastic “thank you” is the worst way to express your hope for something you know?

Meh

Hmmm, is there any reason why there’s two different customizations for Halo 2?

Halo 2 Classic and Halo 2 Anniversary.

Yup, but why?

As long as they don’t mess with my H3 customization then it’s okay.

Why are some people so obsessed with armor customization? Armor sets seems the way to go for me. It’s more quick and easy, just like changing your colors in Halo CE and Halo 4. At the end of the day, you don’t get to see the armor during the gameplay.

But anyway, I believe this is indeed a work in progress. That 20 GB update surely has good stuff in it.

Uh oh… We had better not be getting generic armour sets for Halo 4. I may dislike most of the armour in that game, but I’ll be -Yoink!- if I can’t pick and choose which ones I actually do like. The same goes for Halo 3 as well. Since we have the ability to properly customize our armour in the game, it would be ridiculous to limit our selection like this.

I would love to see a reason for us being limited like this. The resources used in both situations would be the same. The only explanation I can see for this is laziness in not wanting to create a proper customization UI.

dude!!! like serious no -Yoink!-, but I LOVE YOU!!!

It’s simple. Maybe I like the helmet of a certain set, but dislike (or hate) the arms, legs, whatever of that same set. I may want to use the Mark V armour, but the Mark VI legs and an ODST shoulder like I do in Halo 4. Why take away my ability to do that, especially when it’s already coded in the game?
