Other players keep asking why I haven’t changed my armor/weapon skins/etc… Never even crossed my mind to change my armor other than color to be honest, but the last thing that I want is to be noticed in matchmaking. Besides… It would be kind of stupid to make my Spartan look badass when I’m not a pro anyways. Thoughts?
You don’t have to be a pro to look decent, but since all of the armors in H5 are -Yoink!-, it does kinda make sense not to switch. The recruit armor looks better than most. Just please tell me you don’t color yourself puke green and gay pride pink.

Now what is wrong with pink and green?

Nope, lol… Just a couple of blue accents. Haven’t even changed my helmet or visor. That’s it and players are amazed for some reason.
Customizations a big thing for people. They honestly can’t imagine someone not changing their gear.
That said you don’t have to be “pro” to have a reason to change it. My Spartan wears the armor my original character does in-universe.
So you’re basically Spartan Thorne from Spartan Ops, he never changed his armor from recruit lol
Variety is the spice of life, I try to only wear ultra rare or legendary gear. But its really whatever, I guess.
Unless you’re playing FFA there is very little you could do to make yourself more noticeable in RvB matchmaking. From 50m out everyone looks the same. A contrasting dome visor is about all I can think of and even that is nothing compared to being a bright red/blue person.
Some people just really like customization in games I would prefer if you had to do certain things to unlock the armor so the really good ones would be really rare to see
Also, MORE HELMETS!
It turns out I really like games with helmets. It’s pretty much the only reason I played Destiny for a couple of months.
To each their own, really. I enjoy being able to make my Spartan look unique, as much as that ability has been taking away from us for Halo 5.

Yes I agree with this. I try to make my character stand out, so when someone sees me they be like “oh no not THAT guy again”. So whenever they see someone with say, my favourite helmet they will always think of me.
Mostly if you play FFA is when the armor colour counts, in my opinion. I go for darker, less attention-grabbing colors and visors.
Once the new colour palette lsunches, I’ll be using black, or perhaps the darkest blue.
Otherwise, at a distance of really isn’t too noticeable which armor the enemy equipped with.
Only up close when you kill them or they kill you, and T-bagging starts do you get the true nature of their custom armor.
I played with you once, I remember your gamer tag and thinking why your still wearing recruit. But you do you, I like to look different.
dark colours and the least bulky armor so as to go with the more slender female bodyframe, otherwise i don’t really do much customization
Try to make your armor reflect you… And also make it look badass.
