In halo infinite there is no transparency in the store. I got one of the HCS “cloud 9 armor kit” apparently thinking “oh that’s a nice color scheme and weapon skin why not” and bought it. Come to find out when you buy an armor kit bundle you can not change anything on it at all. Now my point is if your advertising the HCS colors as a coating why is it an armor kit? And why can I not change any armor on the kit without it removing the color scheme completely?
Changes I want to see:
●Armor kits should be armor that IS NOT already in the battle pass. There is no point in selling armor that is already gotten in the pass
●Armor kits should allow you to change them in any way you please as long as what your changing as already associated with that same core.
● Any “ARMOR COATING” I obtained from a “ARMOR KIT BUNDLE” in the store should be useable with any armor. It’s just a color nothing complex or conflicting.

Sounds reasonable. Customers should be clear what exactly they are buying, whether or not it is considered a reasonable purchase by any particular individual.
I thought the advantage of these coatings was that you could apply them to any armour or potentially weapons and vehicles too. In the current build they seem far more restrictive.

I just want people to know what they are buying and not buy an item twice (like the zvedsa armor kit in the store) which already contains items you unlock in the battle pass. And with armor kits since I bought it I should be able to change it the way I see fit not have it be locked together

Yeah, apparently that special ‘7 layer system’ they boasted about that let them use one coating on multiple objects was a lie, or was used in such a way that it doesn’t benefit the consumer at all.

Yeah I forgot about that I thought the “7 later system” was going to allow us to use different coatings on different pieces
I think this was something the community came up with to help cope with the idea, thats never what was advertised.

Ah ok never mind on that then but still I should be able to use the cloud 9 hcs skin however I please its 10$ I don’t feel like I’m getting my 10$ worth of customization with everything being locked together
