I got a feeling that the customization updates we get in the Master Chief Collection (particularly in the Halo 3 side) could all be foreshadowing the customization options in Halo Infinite. It would be cool to have techsuit and backpack/rucksack options included with the Reach-inspired customizations in Halo Infinite. I’m curious about what everyone else thinks about this possibility.

Totally agree. MCC is definitely being used as a testbed for features like this and to judge fan feedback

there was a couple backpack armors in h5, they looked okay ish

You are absolutely correct, Halo 5 did have it with the Indomitable armor and let’s not forget the Gen 2 variant of the ODST armor from Halo 4. Both were OK attempts.

Good. Unless there’s a specific game mode where it’s humans vs elites/ brutes, I hate the species mixing in MP.
I don’t care what anyone out there says, you have to aim differently against elite models vs spartan models, even if it’s a subconscious brain thing you can’t control. Non-equal players are aBIG arena no-no for me.
I’ve always wanted a backpack! That ammo pack in mcc is looking hecka cool, especially with the knife. I was very disappointed when I found out you couldn’t use Jun’s backpack in reach. As for techsuits, that is plausible because Master Chief has a different tech-suit than the regular reach-style customization for the players. That might be a cool unlock-able for beating the campaign on legendary, along with MC’s armor.
EDIT: I can also see there being an option to have your primary/secondary colors on the techsuit, like in halo 4 and 5. I personally always thought that looked really ugly, but I’m all about other people having the option.
