halo reach Armor effects in every title.
I love flaming head in H3 but being locked to the legacy/EOD chest completely ruins cosmetics with these new armor sets.
I would also love to see an option for the haunted helmet in reach to not have the ear piece and visor.
Armout effects never really appealed to me so I could live with out
Anyone else agree? Would love to see these ideas get recognized
I like armor effects a lot. It was one of my favorite parts of Reach’s customization. That being said, I don’t really see the effects working in the other games. They already look a little funky in Halo 4. If the effects were to be brought into any game, it would be Halo 2A since it’s running on the same engine as Halo 4
I dunno why people act like all the games aren’t running on the same engine… 4 and 2A are just closest in blood, 4’s similarity to Reach is also strikingly obvious.
While what I’d mainly like to see is evened out customizations for the Elites in Reach (piece by piece) and 3 (back accessories, visor/light color) and a few new options for CE, 2/A, Reach, and 4, I think it’d be cool if we got Infinite’s Yoroi set alongside the other fractures sets in 3.
Would look sweet with the Katana, or a Kanabo.
Speaking of the back accessories, why don’t the weapons use at least the same holster as the Katana rather than just floating? Also the Thessalian Bow and Law’s end look kinda tiny.
Personally, I don’t use armour effects but yes OP, I agree.
Personally I’m against adding any more fractures armor to Halo 3 than what Season 8 did, but I am 100% for adding Busido/Samurai from H:O for both preservation and how well it would work alongside the existing fracture sets and Hayabusa.
aside from that, I hope they’re adding the Preserve chest for Reach alongside the remaining H:O armor sets for Halo 3 from Season 5 and 7’s files (Aspex, Blaster, Extractor, Knight, Spectrum, Operator, Defender), as well as any remaining Elite armor that wasn’t brought over from H:O (Chalaro had some of the best armor pieces overall, and Cleric in particular is an important set since it has the correct H:O Elite waist stored on it that’s currently missing on the sets that were brought over)
Right, I forgot to mention the rest of the Online armor, especially the Elite stuff and Busido, but I just think of all the fractures sets they’ve made it’d be nice to have the best looking one, and maybe a couple more themed undersuits that aren’t just gen2 basketball with some texture slapped on a bit of the front.
Also with the Katana accessory, it’s strange that it’s description is just “like cheddar” or something since it was separated, rather than the original description for the Halo 3 chest piece.
