I think some sort of customization would be a neat thing to have in the game, but only if it has its own separate game types. An interesting system that I would like is that you would pick one stat to sacrifice while increasing another. For example, you can chose to run faster but take more damage, etc…
These are some of the stats that you could trade/swap
Armor:
- movement speed
- damage taken
- shield recharge rate
- shield recharge delay
- recoil from weapons
- melee damage
- sprint duration
Weapons -
- fire rate
- damage
- recoil
- reload times
- magazine size
- cooldown rate(for plasma weapons)
Players would pick any weapon to use before the game starts (except power weapons), and adjust the stats on them to fit their playing style. Once again I would definitely now want them to put this feature in any of the current game types, but it might be a fun idea for a new one. It could even be fun ranked, especially if they update it and keep it as balanced as possible. So anyway, let me know what you think and if you disagree with the idea, try to think of some reason other than “derp ur tryin to make halo into cowadooty”
