Look, I don’t know about anyone else, but I love to customize my characters in video games. I loved being able to see my character come to life in the cut scenes in Reach. There were just a few things I would have liked to seen to add some more flare. One would have been more visor colors and paint designs. But another one was HUD color.
I know Bungie loved their blue themes, and I love blue. But how cool would it be to have an orange colored HUD or even a green one? Or what about making the motion sensor one color and your shield bar another? I don’t know, to me I think it would be awesome.
This is what ive wanted in every FPS since Fallout 3.
I liked my purple Halo 2 Elite HUD… this is a good idea.
I can haz green hud? I can haz green visor?

Can’t hurt to have the option, but don’t you think it would get distracting? It’s already enough for me having pointless blue panels around the edges, and the top and bottom corners cut off by the helmet shape.

Not really. No one would be making you change the color. It would just be a neat option to have is all.

Ok. I did say there’d be no harm in the option. Just wondering if it would distract from gameplay MY HUD IS LIEK REINBOWEZ

I would really love this. I really hope 343 do this but it’s one of those things that people always want but rarely get.

I like this idea a lot, Being able to customize my character a little bit more with a HUD colour of my choice would be great.
I know it would be a bit much to ask, but I also hope the HUD changes with the helmet you wear. I loved it on ODST where you could see the corners and contours of your helmet on the edges of the screen. Made it feel like you were actually wearing a helmet!
Pretty neat function and i’d love for this to happen but in realistic expectations i reckon they’ll want the game to have a consistent feel and look to the HUD.
I think this would be cool, a black hud for a black spartan…one can only dream.
