I think it would be so awesome if you could have some customization
of the flood in halo 4 similar to the elites in reach.
I know this might be asking for too much and who knows we might
even be able to but it would be awesome to change the looks.
What do you guys think??
Great idea, but at this point it’s impossible to 343i put it in-game and i highly doubt they think about it lol
At least color customization.
They can’t. It takes up too much bandwidth.
I was just thinking about this earlier. It would be very cool but like Ninja Poop said we should at least get to choose our color.
> They can’t. It takes up too much bandwidth.
no it doesn’t, do you even know what bandwidth is?
If it’s in the game then it’s more likely to be tied with your armour rather than a whole new armory dedicated to one gametype.
I created a thread about it already: link
This is my best guess how it works.

In a Rafiki voice - Correction, it’s … A Ninja Poop.
LOL
no one knows for sure. This could already be in the game. i just wanted to
address this because its just how the elites were invasion/elite gametypes only
you barely played as them but you could at least choose different types with
different armor sets.
I don’t really want it. I’m not going to try to make those things look pretty or cool.
Just LOOK at the Spartan Flood. I don’t want none.
I hope there is SOME customization to satisfy people who want it, but I probably won’t use it.
Why?
Elites could be used in every playlist (at first), and then in a handfull of dedicated playlists (before everything was stripped down to just Invasion). So it made sense to be able to customize them.
But these Flood models only appear in that single map. In other words: you don’t have your “own” Flood model to take to any other playlist.
Why make a model customizable if it can only be used in 1 single playlist?

Yes but in reach there were many elite gametypes but 4 has just the one. also in reach the models were straight out of campaign anyway.
They won’t have their own armory for sure, they may be influenced by the spartans one though.
I still don’t see 343 investing soo much into a simple gametype.
> I still don’t see 343 investing soo much into a simple gametype.
well obviously they did if your the flood in infection now lol smh
some of you guys dont understand that certain affinity is solely working on
forge so this does give 343i more time to work on things. i mean they have been working
on it way longer then reach

It’s a joke. 343 said they couldn’t include Spectator mode because it was a “bandwidth hog.”

Like -Yoink- like Dota 2 and umvc3? Lol.
> yes helmet,color, ect
yeah like the skin color would be a great idea. but only out of a few different
colors. you dont want a flood with pink skin lol

When did they say it was a map specific gametype?
