Bring back foreground and background for emblems.
The h5 emblems hurt the clan community and teams impossible to make a team nobody has the same emblem Req system.
The reach system was perfect.

Definitely, it simply needs supervision in the form of created emblems requiring approval before appearing online.

Cant argue with the traditional Halo emblem system. It is working and the little piece of personality players can get from start in older games before earning armor pieces.

An orca would be amazing but I’d settle for a generic whale. A “Timmy” emblem would make the most sense to me, it already exists in game (on the side of the helmet)

Then how about emblems with more moveable layers? It would allow you to create a whale symbol for yourself. Whether its Timmy, orca or basically any whale inmoderation and with patience to create it.

The Halo: Reach emblem system was the traditonal emblem system with fore- and background emblems + partly change the fore emblem.
And to think of it, it was rather curious choice to simplify the emblems at the time of Halo getting more official companies.
But absolytely companies is another side as to why traditional or even more expansive emblem system would be better.
But the traditional system definitely would be a great choice. Simple but still rather expansive.
Like the native american trollface which became rather popular in Halo: Reach.

I just don’t want to have to try to unlock my emblem from Halo 3 onward (the wasp) with a REQ pack. When I got Halo 5 I was livid that emblems weren’t available like they were in the other games it immediately gave me a negative connotation of the game before even playing it. So here’s to hoping that 343i will give us the emblems (at least the original ones) at launch and maybe have new unlockable ones with the old.

Default emblems truly would be the best case, armor unlocking should be enough.
Though to stay on topic, what do you think about the customization of the emblems? As in the traditional fore- and background, no customization like in H5g or even multiple moveable layers?
And what do you mean by that last part? As in newly designed emblems would be unlockable? If thats the case i would live with it but i would really prefer emblems being all unlocked by default.

So no Halo: Reach style emblem placement that was on the chest area? Though shoulder would be preferable given if there would be additional equipment then shoulder area would be less likely to be hidden.
Though i would possibly prefer to be able to move where the emblem is located to avoid obstructions.
Though what do you think about the actual emblem customization that is the topic, as in would you prefer something like traditional fore- and background, emblems with more and moveable layers or…?

More customizable stuff the better. Being unique from everyone else in my opinion is great.
The old emblem system is a matter of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” I’d like to see customization come back, as well as some of the old emblems that weren’t in Halo 5. I really like the ones we saw in MCC, like the one of the wind turbine from Zanzibar.
I would like to see emblem creation and the older emblem system. Some players will abuse it, if they add a report system it can be controlled. We have the ability to upload our own gamerpics, I don’t think I’ve seen any vulgarity either.

Report would be fine as long as its not just an automated system reacting to reports. Also, the created emblemscould be sent to be evaluated before you could use them online like some forums for example already do.

oh yeah, foreground and background all the way, allows players to mix and match as they chose, so many unique and creative combonations

Eh, customizable emblems sounds very fascinating. Though i’d like to see more animated ones, especially after what Halo 5 Guardians has given us
