Would you prefer a customisable Agent Locke (think Halo Reach, but without the gender option) or prefer him to have a fixed, iconic, canonical look? I’d personally really like customisation, because you can still have an iconic hero, but with tons of customisation available (think Splinter Cell Blacklist).

I would perfer Agent Locke to keep the look he will start out with in Halo 5. Unless we will play as someone like Noble 6 in a future Halo title then I would like the option to customise my gear.

Well, Jameson Lock is clearly an African American who was once an ONI agent, and is now a Spartan 4 with a black suit and blue visor. It wouldn’t make sense to change him. That’s like if in Halo 6 Masterchief wasn’t John anymore, and he could be a orange haired blue dude. It messes with the story.
I’d love to be able to customize and play a spartan in campaign, but Locke has had way too much work and thought put into him for that to ever happen.

I mean just his armour, nothing more.
Damn it, now I need a different Superintendent logo.
Anyways, I would much rather have his armor unlockable (Because that is the sexiest helmet I have ever seen) than be able to change his armor.
It would be cool, but to be honest…no thanks. Locke is already a character with it’s own personality, voice, and style. Noble 6 was a blank slate, he was supposed to be the player.
343 has stated that Locke is going to be a primary character in Halo 5: Guardians so having his appearance be customisable would be like being able to change the appearance of Chief or the Arbiter. It worked more with Halo Reach because Noble Six had little to no personality. With Locke, much like when playing as Chief or the Arbiter, I assume his personality would be more fleshed out, thus making it make less sense for you to be able to customize his appearance. You are becoming Agent Locke. Agent Locke isn’t becoming you. But that’s just my take on it.
It IS POSSIBLE however it is unlikely.
My opinion on why I think it is unlikely is basically the fellow above me^
Keep him fixed. He is a unique character with a unique personality, not a faceless vessel designed for us to imagine as ourselves.
He will most likely be the default character like noble 6 in reach…etc.
