So basically, I had two Ideas that could potentially make custom games more fun and customizable.
First off: Custom Weapon tuning
1.Let us go into each weapon and change its damage modifier (I.E. Make the Magnum a three-shot killer)
2.Give an alternate clip size (i.e. Magnum: Pick 8 or 12 rounds)
3.Let us set certain weapons to be semi or full auto. (i.e. make the Magnum full auto)
As you can see, I just made a gametype that includes the Halo 1 Magnum!
Second: Loadout traits
- Let us specify individual player traits for individual loadouts.
- I’ve been working on a dominion-based Star Wars Battlefront gametype, and it would be nice to tune the loadouts (i.e. make the rocket trooper slow but tough, and the scout fast but weak, just like in Battlefront)
- Perhaps let us give different loadout selections for each team (i.e. Republic uses some weapons and Separatists use others. Does that make sense?)
Now I understand that some people would abuse these options to give themselves an unfair advantage in custom games, but for us MATURE people it could potentially be used to create fun, balanced new game types and mini-games.
What do you guys think of these?
