Halo infinite needs to have the option where a spartan company can host tournaments against other companies or as a way of taking on new members. Invites could be handled through waypoint, in game, and/or the looking for group section.
The company initating the competition would have the option of selecting maps and gametypes including alternate layouts. Or selecting presets that exist in current matchmaking hoppers.
Players join at the selected time. Once the tournament starts the game itself handles matching up winning teams till one team stands or one player if it was a 1v1 tournament or free for all. Also matching up losing team games if the tournament has a separate losers bracket.
The ability to start a tournament should be reserved for spartan companies only. But since anyone can start a spartan company. It could bring the community closer and encourage more casual gamers to come to waypoint. Get involved in a company and the halo community
