I made this video mainly for the purpose to show off how cool a skull skin would be for the locus helmet. 
Locus is the name of the skin. The helmet doesnāt have a name yet.
looks sick for sure my favorite helmet that iv seen so far but u can only get it from mighty ape and the legendary edition is 130$ instead of 100$ like everywhere else not sure y so unless u wanna pay an extra 30 bucks just for the helmet

No, the name of the Helmet is Locus, it says so in the image displaying the helmet.

As far as I know itās a bonus, tho I donāt know where, and I agree, I really want that helmet.
I think the helmet is in the game (Locus), and the pre-order bonus is the skin that adds the big cross/X on the helmet. And colors are customizable so you can do green base and red cross for example.
Maybe the only part of the locus armor is the helmet, so there are no shoulders or chest piece for it, and individual parts like that have their own skins :Pā¦ i guess.
That would suck if the helmet was pre order only, looks really cool.

343 has stated that no pieces of armor are pre-order only. So the Locus helmet will presumably be in the game.

Tho Iām still going to preorder the game from a store that has the locus helmet as a preorder bonus helmet.

The skin will be able to be APPLIED to that helmet. So for instance you unlock the Locus helmet in game and itās one solid colour, but if you pre-ordered it and have the Locus skin you can add that āXā style to it.

OH!
So itās not a āHereās a free skin with your preorder, and a chance to unlock this helmet earlyā deal, but a āHereās a free skin with your preorder that you can put on this helmet that you can unlock later onā
It probably just unlocks the helmet early with the skin for you too but others can still unlock it in-game.
