I thought of this idea while I was on my morning commute today…
Each playable character in the Campaign has their own unique visor but why should these HUDs stay in Campaign? I thought it would be cool to be able to toggle on (or off depending on your preference) a unique HUD on Mythic rated armour that can be unlocked from REQ packs online. For example, if you acquire Vale’s helmet (Copperhead) from a REQ pack you are given an option to enable her unique HUD for online play or use the default one if you please.
Another option could be HUDs becoming their own cosmetic feature for online players to unlock from REQ packs. Mythic helmets could come bundled with these unique HUDs but there could also be other HUDs to unlock that are not associated with any previous HUDs we’ve seen.
This is just a random thought that crossed my mind, let me know what you think!
Yes please. I would love to have a stylish hid for my venator and soon to be hcs protector armor
Yeah I’ve thought about this before. Seeing as customisation is pretty much the best thing on halo 5 (no hate comments please!) it would be nice to take it even further down that route. It could also develop the range of possible playing styles on this game.

Oh like for players who are essentially snipers can have an option to zoom in farther
and close combat people can have a bigger punch radius when zoomed in
I am very much for this, and hoped for it from the get go.
Yeah, I wouldn’t mind it if you could toggle it on and off.
I saw posts on this a lot in the past and tbh I thought that we were getting custom huds with each helmet at launch then I thought it was just the mythics wrong twice
I would without a doubt LOVE this especially since one of my favorite helmets are GUNGNIR and RECLUSE. Would like to see what that would look like.
After seeing the awesome effort one of the 343 teams put in for the Campaign HUDs I’ve wanted Vale’s HUD for multiplayer ever since lol
I would indeed enjoy that. Maybe even be a able to choose the location of you weapon’s ammo and radar

I would love to be able to customize my HUD, especially if I could put my radar in the center of the screen and use its center to aim.

lthough making custom huds for multiplayer is a bit too much to ask this late in development though… But im still totally in for it!

But there is one problem. HUD shapes are forced to take the shape of your Visor, unless it doesn’t really hale a Visor like Tracer or Hellcat helmets. HUD colors most of the time have the same or a similar color to their Viror and armor colors. I agree as adding unique HUDs to different helmets, however, having HUDs as a new REQ wouldn’t work. HUDs are helmet specific.

I see where you’re coming from and that crossed my mind later on. The HUDs could be adapted to work with other helmets I suppose but… I don’t really know how easy (or hard) it is for 343i to alter pre-existing HUDs and/or create new ones…

Mythic helmets should show come with different, unique HUDs. But other helmets would take too long to mould the shape of the HUDs to the helmet. So several pre-made ones would have to work there.
But yeah, I’m all up for that idea.
