So I just made some new skins in Photoshop if you guys and gals want to check them out. I was pretty excited after 343 announced their would be skins so I thought I’d give an idea of what they could be like.
This one below are mostly community suggested. I don’t think their as good as they could be. I’m never really sure what people are really asking for so don’t be too harsh on these ones.

Yes but they should have an option to turn this off same for armor effects.

Great video and nice Photoshop skills, my favorites would have to be UNSC, Dots, Component and Royal - mainly cause I like purple. Would be nice to see the traditional Hexagon look added to a rifle.
These are the best skins I’ve seen in general and what you’ve done yet. Oni looks -Yoinking!- beast and ivory is slick. I didn’t finish the video yet, like what you did there with the America skin.

Pretty much what you said, maybe blue/red idk. But all the others you’ve listed got my attention for sure. I hope 343 takes it further than just base colors.
I don’t know if this is what 343 had in mind when they said custom skins but i think these look absolutely amazing!

Can I suggest some?
Halos 1, 2, & 3
Use the blue color that you see on the Halo symbols. And on the edges, it fades to white.
The difference between these 3 is that you put the appropriate symbol from each game.
ODST
Make it a foggy black. And put the word ODST at the end of the BR.
You know, the ODST symbol, picture, name art, idk what it’s called.
Flood
Give it that yellowish flood biomass color with a shadowy effect on the edges.
Arbiter
Color the top half the color of the Arbiter’s armor.
And the bottom half black.
Protocol
Give it the silver color of Guilty Spark, with blue lines similar to the last skin in your recent video.
Confetti
Make the weapon a dark black with colorful confetti scattered over the gun.
That’s it.

Nice videos. The first clearly had the best of the bunch though. 
Ivory, ONI and UNSC were probably the best! The American flag looked pretty good on it too, even though I wouldn’t adorn it myself. xP
