So for those who are already annoyed by 343i ruining Halo’s custom games, it’s going to get worse. The other, my friends and I built a map and were planning to make a gametype to go along with it. But guess what? You can’t save gametypes at all! You will literally have to change the settings every time in order to play your map the way you want. This is absolutely terrible and makes no sense at all. 343i, I plead to you, listen to the community. 
I was wondering if that was the case or not. I figured I just wasn’t finding the way to do it. How in the world would they think we’d want to change our custom game settings every time we play instead of being able to save them and just load them up each time we play? That’s crazy.
This is bs, if you would of looked around for a second you would see that you can save gametypes. If you don’t belive me then check the achivements, one is for saving a custom gametype.

The way I see it is 343i just ended up focusing on the campaign, graphics, and online multiplayer they completely forgot about the community. If they don’t fix this, Halo will completely lose its replayability.
They can be saved. I have some saved. You simply needed to hit Y (I believe) after setting the options.
Congrats on your topic though. I’m sure the rage was worth it.

If that’s the case, then I really do apologize for overreacting but the fact that the option to save it isn’t even visible is absolutely ridiculous. You’re right, I should’ve searched before posting this and I did find my answer. Apparently, while you are in one of the customization menus, hit the Y button for File options (this is where I had trouble because they don’t even show this option!)
Yeah, i do kind of agree that it is hard to find. It took me a second. Not really worth raging over.

It wasn’t that hard to find… Just hit all the buttons and look. Don’t expect 343i to hold your hand on every single little option and menu.
