custom games (trying out new maps)

hey ya’ll me and friend recently finished making 3 BTB maps so I was looking to see if anyone would like to help play test them. I’m very satisfied with the layouts of our maps, but I know I will probably need to fix some of the ordinance drops (time and weapons) to help balance out the maps. All 3 maps use all of the “forge worlds” so that is where they take place.

The first one we made is called “Rock Bottom”, which takes place on Ravine. In the map we have it set to where the canyon separates both teams (can still cross it). Also, we have it set to where you can go all the way to the bottom of the canyon and have a battle all the way back to the top. Fun fact → we have a trait zone that covers the entire map, so there is no fall damage.

The second map we made is Midas (as a reference to Austin Powers → Midas 22). It takes place on Impact. I personally like this map the most. The way I have set up players to start off in the map looks like they come out of a drop pod. we have a trait zone that covers the whole map to where there is no fall damage. Also, the trait zone has player gravity at 75% and player jump at about 110% We did this so it has an outdoor space feeling as well as so players can make certain jumps around the map.

Our final map is called Cavern, which takes place on Erosion. This is a map I can definitely see being a BTB Objective map. We have the attackers on the upper area of the map (around all of the land) and then we created a bottom arena around the water where the defenders respawn. I haven’t set the map to be Objective based yet because I wanted to see how it would play as a regular slayer map first. Fun aspect to look forward to—> you should see how both teams are able to get to each others bases.
