Many times have I wanted to drive/fly around in custom games in some of my favourite vehicles but cannot. My best examples would be the 5 seat Falcon, Pelican, Phantom and Trooper 'hog. Just because they aren’t necessarily going to work very well in MM, they shouldn’t be abandoned from everything bar campign. Now, 343i may of already made these sort of things ready for us in Halo 4 but I belive allowing them in custom games would just allow the game to be more fun. They would also greatly benifit fan made videos.
What do you think about the exclusion of said vehicles in MM/custom games?
If you have any other vehicless you would like to be usable outside of campaign, post them here.

I never said they should be, what I’m trying to say is that there are things that don’t get put into maps as they wont work in MM, regardless of how they will work in custom games.
I agree. I hate when they take out stuff from the campaign, and don’t allow us to use it in custom games. I was really sad in Reach when I couldn’t use the target locator in custom games.

Agreed, coming to think about it, the Forklift should of been allowed aswell although I know it would of had issues driving on the grssy, bumpy terrain of Forge World.
I remember when i got Halo 3 and found out that the Passenger hog wasn’t an option for Infection. With a sufficiently large base and humans cowering in the back with quick zombies running around; it would have been amaaaaaaaazing.
With the involvement of Invasion(which may or may not be present) Things like the 5 seat Falcon, Pelican, Phantom, and Passenger hog become far more viable. They could find their niche like that in matchmaking. Just imagine a team of elite invaders spawning inside of a Phantom at the start of the game; That flies in to drop them off in a secure location(ie, one that discourages spawn camping) Invasion is really where i start to see those Custom Games/Matchmaking walls start crumbling.
Invasion opens up intriguing possibilities with those campaign vehicles.
The truck in reach, the troophog and the fiver falcon were some of my fav. Vehicles.
Pelican-Would sit landed on ground, X to enter, X to get in back, driver fires turret.
Phantom-Would hover. X to enter, Down on D-Pad to ride in, left of D-Pad to operate left turret, right on D-Pad to operate right turret. Driver fires main gun
