Custom Games not recording time played

So I’ve not had much time for Halo 5 since it’s initial launch. And as I slowly ease into things now there are many things that are completely alien about the experience. But let’s start with one thing at a time.
Custom Games. Recently the Timmy helmet was finally revealed it’s requirements by the new community manager ske7ch; 50 hours in Custom Games. He explained that every week till March 31, players who have reached 50 hours in Customs will be sent the Timmy helmet. However after March 31 it is not specified what happens to the helmet. Is it unlocked no longer on a weekly basis or it no longer available after March 31? Well he never clarified which I’ll get to later.
So in the event that the helmet will no longer be awarded after March 31, I have taken the arduous task of grinding 50 hours of Customs in the time left alongside my busy day to day.

So when I can, I sit by and do a little grinding at a time. Before yesterday, I had 1d 2:33:56. Yesterday was my day off so I decided to dedicate my day to grind out 12 hours of Customs. Only the servers never recorded it. Even today, servers aren’t recording my time in Customs. 12 hours gone, a day off work with nothing to show for it.
Which brings me to my biggest complaint about my return to Halo. 343i has changed. There’s a breakdown in communication. It is harder than ever to get a response to an issue from 343. That was my biggest praise of 343 Industries. There constant communications with the community. As an example; I tweeted at Brav (former community manager) on Twitter a total of 84 times about various issues here and there. Out of those 84 tweets, he replied 73 times; he even followed me on twitter. Compare that to ske7ch. In the past month or so I’ve tweeted him about only two issues. Call me obsessive but I waited different times during different days to get a response. It took 29 tweets over three weeks to get a reply. I’m not saying he’s not doing his job, but it’s definitely different from Brav. These guys get a lot of messages daily, but the fact that Brav replied roughly 90% of the time to ske7ch’s 3% is noticeable. And it’s not just ske7ch, nobody seems to keep the consistency of replying to feedback or issues any more at 343 Industries.

In the end, I want the Timmy helmet. It’s a freaking whale helmet. I want my lost hours. But most importantly, I want better communication for the community.

And another 4 hours of Customs not recorded. Warning, after your games if you do not receive an after action report and your screen says “retrieving game data” everything you did in that game was not recorded to your service record. Is it because I’m not making kills in Customs? Is it because there’s no objective? Is it because I’m just -Yoink- around in Customs driving and destroying things? I don’t know but it’s -Yoink!- me off.

And on a side note: Just how many maps did 343 make for Halo 5?? That aren’t templates? I understand they overhauled Forge and (like Bungie did) use featured community-made maps, but still, the amount of maps they themselves built seems extremely lacking. And Forge wasn’t a thing until recently… Just seems lazy. (I know it’s not lazy, and the exact amount of work that it takes to design a map entirely.)
