So I spent quite a few hours making an incredible infection map. I don’t want to toot my own horn, but it’s really good. The problem, however, is that I can’t play it with more than a couple people! If I try to load it up with 5+ people, the game freaks out and starts systematically kicking people one by one on the load screen.
At first I thought it was a file size issue (I used every possible object on Awash and the file was ~35,000 bites), so I stripped away some unnecessary parts of the map and got the file down to ~15,000 bites. Still having the same issue. I got lucky and got 5 people into the game, but two of us were kicked at the end of the first round. I tried later with 7 people and we all got kicked while loading. The map is made for larger parties (6+ players), so this issue is especially frustrating.
If anyone knows what causes this to happen and/or has a way to fix it, please let me know. I put so much time and effort into this map, I don’t want to never be able to play it.
Same thing happens to me idk man now I can’t have clan raids because of this.

No, it’s on Awash. It’s one of the other H2A forge maps.

well damn hopefully they fix it in april
H2A maps with high byte size (and/or high object counts) fail upon loading in medium to large lobbies, guides on the subject:
Byte Size: http://www.forgehub.com/threads/byte-sizes-of-maps-and-what-they-mean-for-us-forgers-important-for-everyone.148327/
Object Count: http://www.forgehub.com/threads/object-count-limitations.148146/
I have also heard that there are problems with using infection-specific objects such as the Infection Sword.
I’ve spent over 200 hours forging mini games in H2A and I usually want my maps to work with up to 16 players. To do so, I need to keep my object count under 400, preferably under 250 for 16 players. I typically use Skyward (only one without lighting issues). Some objects are more problematic than others obviously, so look over those guides above. 343 hasn’t even acknowledged the existence of this issue, and only a small fraction of the population is aware so my expectations on a fix are low. As I’ve told others, “it’s amazing what they made it seem like we can do”.
