IMHO the way 343i setup the custom games area is a pain in the butt! They should have at least did it like Halo MCC. O’well life goes on. Why you have to open a BTB: CTF file then save it then you can edit the file and save it. You should be able load up a game mode edit it then save it!! That’s it! We really dont need to go thru all these hoops just to edit and save a file.

Also…

Now lets say I’m in a slayer in Custom Games. Then then I end the game, Now I want to change a different game mode. I have to get out of the game Completely then boot up the game the select the game mode in Custom Game and it will change the game mode no problem. BUT>>>>>> if I’m in custom games and I just played a slayer game mode and ended the game. Now I change to a different game mode and select a CTF game mode it will not change the game mode unless I get out of the game and reboot the game then select a CTF game mode.

THAT IS JUST WRONG!!!

You should not have to get out of the game just to select a different game mode!!

The game mode editor will not let me make changes in the game mode settings after it has been saved, It keeps what ever you had at the time of the saved file. So you end up deleting the game mode and starting all over again. What a pain in the butt!!!

Hope 343i fixes this asap!

One thing I noticed when i was playing around with gamemode settings is theres also no option to set players starting equipment… i just want to be able to have a lobby of people with unlimited grappling hooks :sob:

Yes you can bud! If you what to change the weapons you need to go into the Mode Editor and then go into SANDBOX. There you can change weapons and more ammo etc etc.

( don’t ask me it’s call Sandbox. Should have been called Weapons Area )

I guess it would have been too logical :rofl:

You can change the weapons and set the ammo to infinite and have bottomless clips but I could not for the life of me find the equipment option in there :sob:

That maybe a Forge selection for the Grapplershot and Sniper Rifle and Camo and other stuff like that. In Halo MCC FORGE I was able to do that like that you are talking about. Wish Forge was out so we can do stuff like that.

( just hope they give us the ability for remove the damn soft and kill barriers and put them where we want! )

You think it would just be an option in the sandbox menu with the rest of the weapons and such :weary: you can set your equipment in the single player training mode with bots but thats it… i wanna be able to spiderman around the current maps with my friends 343 :weary:

I don’t understand why the GrappleShot Is not in the weapons list. It defies logic!
