Hey guys,
Outta curiosity, has 343 said anything about bringing back Infection or updating custom gametypes? What I mean by that is what happened to Juggernaut? Oddball? All the customization from previous Halo games?
I ASSUME that when Forge comes out in December they will add some of it back but any confirmation?

I couldn’t find any confirmation, but it is certainly the last straw for me if they do not fix custom games options by the time Forge releases. I have faith they will.
Apparently every weekend there’s going to be a playlist voted on by players, which -could- include gametypes not yet in the game, but nothing set in stone yet. This weekend is supposed to be Shotty Snipers which is already in the game via Custom Games. So maybe next week.
Even then, though, there’s no File Browser where you can check your recent games and download the gametype for personal use…
Infection Had always been my favorite. Hoping they bring it back at some point… There would need to be much larger maps to incorporate it though. The current size of the arena maps is prohibitively too small for the infection game type.
Oddball is my most missed mode. I loved playing oddball on Halo 3.
It sucks having payed action shack for the last month or so on MCC that there is nothing even close to this on halo 5, but I’m sure with time it will come. 343 want to show off their shiney new penny for a bit!
I want to know this too as this is critically important.
It has been implied that most classic gamemodes will come with the Winter Update. We were given the core Halo experience, it sucks we have to wait but at least the core experience is darn good imo.

Freaking bo jackson just running past everyone and using the occasional stiff arm… can’t wait to shoulder ram and juke people, too!
