AH death by veg
Hey, I’ve never needed to write something like this, but this is a huge issue that is not being seen to and is not talked about. The problem is this:
As a frequent host of open custom games (its all I ever do in H5) I get booted from the game for no reason, usually when the play count is only around three. The lobby menu will say " waiting to join game in progress" but I never get in. This happens EVERY time. Its impossible to build a lobby and is an especially big pain when you are testing maps. This has gotten extremely bad since the last update. I cant host customs anymore. This has happened so many times that i have noticed that sometimes it wont even load the lobby when booted. It says quit activity at the bottom but that doesn’t even work.
I have talked to people in the game i was booted from and they said the game glitched and freezed as i was being ejected. By the time it had un-freezed they said that the map had glitched, Plain blocks, teleporters, vehicles. shields, spawns, all moved or gone!
This is NOT due to a weak internet connection, just want to point that out. The only things that work is Campaign, social/arena and forge. I will be dropped from warzone matches if i ever get into as game now the waiting times are worse than the MCC’s.
I have never played a game that is glitched as this, hell, i never understood all the hate towards the MCC. Always worked for me. This is unssen error is seriously damaging custom games and rendering the Browser useless. I’m sad more than angry. Please fix this. For me, for what I play, halo 5 is unplayable.

I guess the servers are acting up again. Which forced you out of the game. This is a common thing. Sadly there is no real solution on the users end of things, as 343 needs to stabilise their servers.
If you have your xbox connected by wifi I would suggest turning off all other wifi using devices to maximise the xbox’s potential. When the screen freezes the best thing to do is dashboard, exit and relaunch the game (which I’m assuming you are doing).
Sorry I can’t be of much help as I don’t really fix the servers hosting the custom game.
Try resetting Alternate MAC Address in system network settings on your Xbox to improve the general responsiveness of Halo 5. This generally always works for me when weird things start to happen in Halo 5.
