Custom games fun ideas?

Hey guys
I’ve been trying a few custom games with some mates to space out the matchmaking but can’t seem to make anything actually worth playing seriously, most games end up max speed, sliding around like nutcases with zero gravity :joy::joy:

So, i’ve tried making a juggernaut game type but can’t seem to or some kind of oddball FFA where the ball carrier is stronger and faster but can’t seem to do that either, is it just me or does it feel like whoever made these custom games settings has never even played a halo game before? Just feels like a severe lack of passion.

Is there anyone out there who has some cool game modes? or perhaps know what settings to tweak to make something fun and playable?

Really, a lot of past gamemodes were made with Infection. Most game ideas currently have to have honour rules and there’s not much you can do right now besides variations of slayer. I mean, I guess paintball could be a gametype you could make, maybe a Spiderman style game with unlimited grapplehooks and swords?. I can’t even suggest things like cat & mouse Halo 2 style as you can’t even select what vehicles spawn.

I wish you could choose your loadout. cuz you can for everyone but it would be cool if you could choose abilities/weapons. br hook sword. lots of fun with spike grenades.
