This is my first topic in these forums so please bear with me.
Ok, so it may be talked already about this or not, but as I was seeing in a topic about the infection gametype for me at least it is indeed a custom game contender instead of a matchmaking contender. All of you seek on a custom game is to have fun or maybe sometimes some interesting competitive play. For infection this is not the case. Yeah, yeah call me an infection fanboy if you want to but if you were present in the good 'ol halo 3 days when infection was the funnest and probably the most played game-type in custom games you would know what I’m talking about.
Now as far as I remember since Reach was a more matchmaking driven game most people stopped playing custom games(don’t get me wrong some did but it was just a few amount) and just played it on the living dead playlist which lead to the default maps with infection which it was a little disappointing because many maps on halo 3 were made to be for infection, some did well, some were kinda stupid sometimes. You would realize that one of the reasons halo reach failed on custom games was because it was not a social experience compared to halo 3 due to the party system not being present were you could go in social slayer and get some buddies to play some custom games.
Well I’m getting far from what I really wanted to talk about which is a custom game browser were you can search for a custom game, hop in it, try it out and maybe have fun. This would really raise the replay-ability on Halo 4 were we could have: Campaign, Spartan Ops, Matchmaking, FORGE, and now a dedicated custom game browser that if you feel too alone when your friends are not online you can get in there and make some more friends.
So please lets make this happen as this may not be so hard for 343 to make and nobody gets harmed in the process.
