I don’t recall that ever being a thing in past games. You could only carry the flag if you jumped into a Passenger seat on a vehicle. You couldn’t get into the driver seat or seats that operated turrets with it.
You may be able to “equip” the flag to the back of the Transport Warthog like you can with Weapons and Power Seeds though and then jump into the Drivers seat.
iv’e been trying to figure that out as have same problem :-/ No doubt will be updates in new year, being V1 and can actually play custom games now is a blessing, and a welcome surprise it dropped 3 months early

Since I pretty much host/admin may games all timeI would like under the Privacy Area to be able to have a check mark next to “OPEN” so I can set “OPEN” as the default!
Also I have had friends have trouble getting into my server when I have people already playing on my server. They say it takes them at least 2 to 4 mins. while loading to get into my server! Loading maps when joining a server is very slow!
I guess a problem is that I can’t bring my fireteam with me to another in the custom game browser. And I would have to leave them. Meaning I can’t play with my friends together ?
Would be great to be able to bring my fireteam into the game I select when using the CGB. Maybe some way to merge the fireteam, but still maintain the ability to leave the customs fireteam and bring your old crew to a different game. Right now everyone has to leave the fireteam and search individually for the same game, hoping it doesn’t fill up, not to mention it can be difficult to find the exact same match with multiple duplicates of map/mode combos.

This may sound like a weird Request, but I would love to block certain Words while searching for Custom Games in the Browser.
This was probably one of my top Requests for the H5 CGB too.
I honestly don’t want to see the all the Assassinations Tower & Recruitment Maps anymore, a lot of other Quality Games get burried because of this. No offense to these People, but there are way too many of these Lobbies and most of the Time it’s just 1 Player in the Room, instead of just joining one.
So, I would love to filter those out.
Would be really glad if something like this would be possible in the Future.
Some maps/modes are missing credits.
Also on forged maps you sometimes spawn outside the map
It looks kind of hard to see how many players are in a lobby from the main page. Maybe make the player count bigger or more visible.
IMHO I thing that the browser system should be like MCC Custom Game Browser.
Why?
Sure it looks pretty with the big blocks of the game names but
IMHO it’s over kill. If you just setup the game like we did in Halo MCC
I think people would like that better.

Custom Game Browser big time! Simplistics is better than what we have now! 
It took me longer than I’d like to admit to realize that the CGB is located under Community and not Multiplayer.
The entire UI is really horrible

You would have thought 343 would have looked at MCC on how to setup the Custom Game Browser cuz it worked great! Like my daddy always said:

Here are my main thoughts after first using it:
My only major problem is with voice chat being turned off for all new players. Many people don’t realize that the game has automatically made this choice for them, and assume that no one wants to talk to them. I was one of those players, until I saw someone comment about it on these forums.
The beauty of custom games not only comes from gameplay, but also friend-making. How is one supposed to make friends on console when this roadblock is in place? Text chat is too cumbersome for a controller.
It appears some maintenance was done on the forums.

Halo MCC Custom Game Browser Works! The devs may want to look at MCC Custom Game Browser and see why it works and Halo’s Infinite Custom Game Browser does not!
I agree with the sentiment that the browser should display games more similarly to MCC. Add a thumbnail icon on the leftside in a column and increase the general thickness/padding of a row to accommodate.
session name, game mode name, map (+ ability to show number in rotation/playlist [give us ability to make a playlist!]), active players, and visible ping.
Let us filter by keyword and filter NOT keyword (to exclude certain game modes or maps), too.
Seeing so many classic maps in the Custom Games Browser is awesome. 343 really needs to create a Classic Maps Playlist for Infinite’s matchmaking. Get at least two maps in there per month. And they should make sure to tweak some of the settings to make sure that the 1 to 1 remakes don’t end up feeling too crowded due to Infinite’s movement mechanics. Some classic settings could be something like
-Disabled Sprint
-Disabled Clamber (that thing where you can climb over ledges)
-Active Camo/Overshield equipment only
-Classic Weapons (so no banished weapons on the classic maps)
