I actually can’t find the Custom games browser in the community tab. And the Cadet coatings don’t load for any of the armor cores besides the original ones they were in…

The main thing I wanna see from the CGB is for it to just copy MCC a bit

A quick match feature would be nice

along with “variants” and “repeat game”
so a new map and game mode can start up automatically after the previous game ends

The UX flow would be improved if under “Play” there was “Custom Games Browser” as a lot of users may view “Custom Games” and not understand where to find the game browser under “Community”.

Something like under the “Play” tab, clicking on “Custom Games” having a pop-out submenu of “Create Lobby” and “Custom Games Browser” would go a long way.

I join a session where we were playing halo 2 turf map and gamemode slayer.
The bad is that we cant speak with eachother, ALLOW US TO SPEAK WITH THE REST OF THE PEOPLE LIKE IN MCC.

PLEASE 343.

24 players on guardian! absolute chaos, life expectancy 2 seconds lol… So glad can now play og maps, not played around with it too much yet

I would like to host my Halo Online Diamondback Map. How Do I do that? Do I have to Bookmark my map or what to host my map?

V1 is a huge step forward, but it would be greatly appreciated if we could have lobbys discoverable rather than only join-in-progress.

A filter or tab for in progress games vs empty (host only in) lobbys like most other server browsers (Battlefield, TF2, Overwatch, etc) would be appreciated, too. Otherwise there’s always going to be an uneven set up and the flow of getting a game and lobby started will be off.

Finding games and loading in to them so far has been superb. No issues so far in the handful of games I’ve played.

Unless I’m not seeing something, I can’t tell how to leave a fireteam though. If I’m in a custom game I can’t figure out how to actually leave the lobby/fireteam. I had to open up Forge in the menu to get a pop up of “you will leave your current fireteam” and hit okay. I couldn’t find an option in the Fireteam / social menu or in the Custom Game lobby itself.

Am I being a potato? Can’t find a way to quit a match once it’s over, it keep loading me back in the same game over and over, even if I try to quickly join another custom game.

I can’t find an answer to this in the CGB Overview page, but if the functionality doesn’t exist already please add it:

If I am in a fireteam of players (say, 4 or 6 players), and I am the party leader, when I open the Custom Games Browser and select a game to join, put the entire fireteam into the session given there is enough room to add all of my fireteam in it.

This would be much more convenient to find games as a group of friends rather than one person join a game and everyone else join in on them.

Issues with Admin/Hosting Games: ( PC Version )

343 needs to give us some admin tools like we had in Past Halo Games!

  1. There is no way to kick user’s for creating Hate and Discontent.
  2. There is no way to “BAN” user’s for creating Hate and Discontent.
  3. There is no way to switch User’s from one side to another.
  4. There is no “MAP” rotation in this version.
  5. There is “NO SERVER NAME” for hosting games!
  6. Please Auto Balance Team at the beginning of each game!
  7. The Custom Game Area still need to be fixed. Issue connection to game servers.
  8. I have noticed that when people join the game the user just stands there for at least 60 seconds before the user moves. It looks like the user is AFK :rofl:

Side suggestions:

Need Welcome Screen like most games.
Need Server rules screen like most games

Since most of the maps are very big I suggest that you have a
"Carry The Flag in vehicle in the “CTF CUSTOM GAME MODE” like we could in past Halo Games.

Summation:

The UI is cumbersome for this version of the Custom Game Browser. It needs to be setup Like Halo MCC.

Is voice and text chat disabled in custom games? If so, please allow it. My parkour/jump map is being hosted by many lobbies and I’d love to be able to communicate with people and help them complete the jumps!

Cannot join any games, I have fast BB with good connection,

stuck on 0% loading map screen, or connecting to server scree then
Unable to Join screen message

Then it will not let me quit, just traps me in this loop of screens

im pretty sure you can already kick players within your fireteam and swap a player’s team/side within your fireteam
and seeing how all the CGB really does is add players to your fireteam
this should work just fine
I don’t think you have these options while in a match however

also im 99.9% sure you can carry the flag while in a vehicle as long as your the passenger
unless you mean driving a vehicle with the flag

I already know that bud! But I am talking about a user with the flag can jump in to lets say Hog, Wasp, Banchee, or any other vehicle and drive with the flag like we could in past Halo Games!!
